When it comes to exercise people seem to be obsessed with the abdominal area. The drive for many people working out seems to be to get those washboard abs they’ve seen on the TV. Now there are many reasons why people won’t get the same results as the models demonstrating the equipment.
For one models have spent a lifetime working on their bodies. Most people don’t have the time or motivation to do what is necessary to get that type of physique. I’d also have to question whether it was desirable anyway but that’s another story.
The number of gadgets that claim to be able to give you these highly desirable abs and at the same time help you lose shed loads of weight must number in the hundreds.
The latest gadget that claims to be able to give you a perfect situp is called believe it or not the perfect situp. This device claims to be able to give you a better situp then you could do on your own without any equipment.
It claims to relieve tension in the neck and to work the abdominals is twice as hard as a normal situp. Now this may be true for someone who can’t do a situp in good form. That can’t ensure their abdominals don’t dome and who haven’t been instructed in the correct way to do a situp.
If you do situps correctly you shouldn’t get any tension in the neck and by adding some simple progressions you can target both the upper and lower abdominal region. All this can be done with no equipment at all in the privacy of your own home.
Situps are just part of a balanced workout. To get the best results we need to focus on functional all body exercises not just isolate one particular muscle group.
So forget the exercise gadgets and just get a personal trainer to teach you how to do situps correctly and how to incorporate a balanced and healthy diet into your lifestyle.
Or if you can’t afford a Personal Trainer take a look at The Truth About Abs good solid information with no bull.

Hey, i know that you have to be lower than a certain amount of body fat to get abs to show and doing crunches dont work that fat off. I for one run on the treadmill 2-3 times a week and burn this fat off but when it comes to crunches i just simply cant do that much because its hurt my back when im on the floor. i barely have any fat on me, so if i would get the perfect situp would that actually help? because im tired of trying to do situps on the floor because its hurts my back and i may be doing incorrectly but im already a low body fat so can i just usethe perfect situp to try to get abs? becuase if not i dont see myself doing situps.
First off the perfect Sit-up is what a 100 bucks?!? Maybe a little extra for some add ons and a PERSONAL TRAINER cost by the HOUR?? that makes no financial sense to me at all. And you can get those “movie star” abs it’s just going to take a lot of time and determination so if a person has to have less than 5% or whatever body fat it’s achievable just make sure you have the necessary time and patience to devote to your health and well being. Oh and the perfect Sit-up is awesome!!!!!!!!
I’ve seen videos of the perfect sit-up and it looks like you can’t bring your upper body all the way up. I’m not sure I like the idea of it I guess it would take getting used to. As far as having padding, I bought just one of those work-out mats (works great) and I’ve only been working my abs for six months and I’m already starting to get a wash board. It just takes commitment!
I started using this contraption and now I’m even fatter than I was before I started.
And that damn clicking noise. I kept thinking it was my vertebrae snapping.
One, most people (including myself) cannot perform a crunch or sit-up so well that it does not strain their back. The whole point of exercise gadgets is to provide a convenient and inexpensive way to reach the same level fitness you would receive through a trainer. Also, the perfect sit-up is $100. Hiring a personal trainer is far more expensive and, if what the product says is true, will only get you the same results as the perfect sit-up (or any other device that similar claims).
